Schedule:

1.05.2016
     - arrival day,
     - until 7.00 p.m. - accreditation in the hotel.
     - 7.30 p.m. - team leader meeting.

2.05.2016
     - 11.00 a.m. - start of matches,
     - 5.00 p.m. - opening ceremony,

3.05.2016
     - quater-, semi-finals and final

4.05.2016
    - departure day.


Competition Rules

The tournaments will be conducted in accordance with the official WPA 9-Ball rules. A limit of 32 players.

System of tournament - double k.o. and single elimination. All matches will be alternate break, race to 7. Players who qualified from the loser‘s side will be drawn at random against the seeded players.

Shot Clock - 55 second shot clock will apply for all games, except for a hill-hill situation.
Players may request an extension (55 seconds), but only one per rack. A warning will be given when there is only 10 seconds left.

Time Out. Each player will be allowed one five-minute time out per match. It will be explained at the Player‘s.


Points for Attention

    All the participants are advised to observe Tournament‘s rules and arrangements. Played in two parts.

    Players should announce themselves at the check-in area ten minutes before their match starts. If the player is not present after the announcement of commencement of play made by the tournament director, their game shall be forfeited.

    Any appeal against the referee in-charge should be lodged before both players make next break, otherwise the appeal will be invalid.

Drinking alcohol is strictly forbidden during the matches and time outs.
No smoking in the venue or during the match, or time-outs. Players are forbidden to carry mobile phones during the competition.

Any form of gambling is strictly forbidden during the Tournament.

All the players should wear Tournament‘s official clothing: Shirts with collar & sleeve. Boys players should be dressed in dark color trousers& black leather shoes; girls players should be dressed in dark color trousers & formal shoes.

    All players have to take part in the opening ceremony. Everybody have to wear the official clothing.

    The commercial signs of tournament Sponsorship are made by the Organizing Committee and players cannot participate in the tournament if they don‘t wear it.

    Each player can have 1 to 3 commercial and 1 government signs and the specifications & contents should be filled in the entry form and approved by the Organizing Committee when you register.

    Attention: The authority for the interpretation of this competition information belongs to the Organizing Committee or WPA.

Entry fee - 100 euro.

Prize - cups and medals.

The organizer of the WC will pay the hotel costs for the medalists of the 2016 WC (single room + breakfast for 3 nights).

Insurance

The players and companions‘ couches responsibility in all matters of insurance and hereby indemnify the World Pool-Billiard Association, the event organizer or sponsors against any incident that may occur during the conducting of the event, or in transit to and/or from the event.

Rates of rooms for the participants and the guests of the World Championships:
Single room: 50 Euro/night / per room,
Twin or double room: 60 Euro/night / per room,
The price contains the breakfast and all taxes.

Airport: Warszawa (Warsaw)
    The Mak Marketing will organize shuttle Warsaw-Kielce-Warsaw
    (Price for both ways -350 km):
    - 80 euro per person, if will go minimum 3-4 persons,
    - 100 euro per person, if will go minimum 2 persons.
